Plumb has said in a number of interviews that it was her mother who saved everything, pretty much literally everything, career related. There was even a round of news stories about Plumb going through the stuff with Kate Flannery from The Office, who is apparently a super fan. That planted the seeds for this auction, no doubt.
Her family was show business from the start, her dad was a famous RCA album producer of some of the biggest albums of that era.
R28 it's doubtful she needs money. If anything, out of all of them, she seems to have been one of the smarter ones with managing it. And she's actually a great friend to the gays, she's done the Broadway Backwards event in NYC several times. It's Olsen who has made some homophobic remarks.
